Dr. Peter Raphael is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He attended undergraduate school at the University of Dallas, and completed his medical training at the University of Texas South Western Medical School at Dallas. He remained in Dallas, Texas for his General Surgery Residency. Dr. Raphael then accepted a Residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Illinois. Upon completion of his extensive training, he returned to Texas where he has been in private practice in Plano since 1992.
As well as being a co-founder for the American Institute of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Raphael has presented his surgical techniques at prominent medical meetings and events on a national and regional basis. He has also been a featured surgeon on a Showtime documentary movie and also on the Discovery Channel in the 'Super Surgery' series.
