Dr. David M. Lavine is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a highly educated professional that specializes in cosmetic surgery, permanent hair replacement and individualized medical skin care.
Dr. Lavine completed his undergraduate work at Duke University and then attended the University Of Virginia Medical School in Charlottesville, Virginia, to obtain his medical degree. He completed his training at the renowned Baylor University Medical Center. After concluding his training in plastic and hand surgery in Akron, Ohio in 1977, Dr. Lavine came to Fort Worth, Texas to start his practice.
Dr. Lavine maintains a number of professional affiliations. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and the Surgical Laser Association. He has publications in both national and international journals along with being the founding member, Past President and Past Co-Chairman of the Fort Worth Society of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Lavine has also made editorial contributions to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram "Health Talk" section, as well as "Focus on Health and Fitness" section, and many other local publications.
