He is a native of the midsouth area, he graduated from high school in 1972 from Memphis University School. After completing college and medical school he returned to Memphis in 1980 to complete his seven-year residency in General Surgery and then Plastic Surgery. Dr. Goshorn is a 3rd generation physician his family.
