Dr. Robert T. Buchanan is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He earned his undergraduate degree from the prestigious Emory University in 1962 then went on to complete his Medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia, 1969. Upon graduation, Dr. Buchanan continued his education through a General Surgery Residency at the University of North Carolina in 1978, and two Plastic Surgery Residencies at Barnes’ Hospital in Missouri and at Washington University.
Dr. Buchanan is an active member of several prestigious medical associations which include: The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The South-eastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, The American College of Surgeons, The American Medical Association, The South Medical Association, The Arkansas Medical Society and The Sebastian County Medical Society.
Dr. Buchanan performs a wide variety of surgical procedures using the most state-of-the-art techniques.
