He received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. He completed his surgical training at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans and concluded his medical education with a residency in plastic surgery at the Lahey Clinic in Boston. Dr. Nathan is affiliated with four hospitals and clinics in the Missouri area
Dr. Nathan is also a member of several medical societies including the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, The American College of Surgeons, and St Louis Metropolitan Medical Society.
