Introduction
Dr. Terry Cromwell has been a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon since 1975. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati Medical School. After serving two years in the Navy as General Medical Officer, he completed four years of General Surgery Residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He concluded his medical training with another two years of a plastic surgery residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Cromwell is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member in the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Louisiana Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Louisiana State Medical Society, and the Lafayette Parish Medical Society. He is past president of both the Louisiana Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Lafayette Parish Medical Society.
Dr. Cromwell has an active practice that encompasses all of the many areas of specialization involved in the plastic and reconstructive surgery field, including cosmetic surgery, surgery of the hand, and reconstructive surgery for congenital anomalies. For the last ten years he has concentrated on face lift surgery combining laser surgery, endoscopic surgery, liposuction, and fat injections.
