Introduction
Dr. Timothy Schurman is an American Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, who earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa. From there, Dr. Schurman went on to complete a Medical degree at the University of Iowa’s College of Medicine. After the completion of his Medical degree, Dr. Schurman completed his General and Plastic Surgery Residencies at the University of Wisconsin. He also completed a Fellowship for Hand Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin though the Departments of Plastic, Orthopaedic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Schurman is also American Board Certified by the Board of Independent Medical Examiners, and the American Board of Surgery. He also holds a Certificate of “Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand”.
Dr. Schurman is also an active member of several professional Medical Association and organizations around the country. These organizations and associations include: The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the American Association of Hand surgery, the Iowa Medical Center, the Polk County Medical Society and the Midwestern Association of Plastic Surgeons.
