Introduction
Dr. Christian G. Drehsen is a Board Certified surgeon who has been practicing in the Tampa Bay area for over 20 years. One of Florida's most renowned and respected surgeons, Dr. Drehsen has been named in the Consumers Research Council of America's influential publication Guide to America's Top Physicians. Dr. Drehsen has also received the Florida Medical Association's Distinguished Physician award, an honor presented to doctors who have proved their dedication to outstanding patient care. Dr. Drehsen received his Bachelor of Science at the Lovanium University in Zaire, and earned his medical degree at the University of Brussels in Belgium. He completed his medical training program in all fields of plastic surgery at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, where he became a specialist in hand surgery and fully trained in microsurgery. He went on to complete his residency at Morton Children's Hospital in Louisville.
