I am scheduled for upper eye lid surgery in Jan. 2010. I have one sagging eye lid. The doctor recommends raising my eyebrow first and afterwards raising the eye lid if needed. I am not sure about raising the eyebrow.

I have obviously not examined you, but I would be surprised if raising your eyebrow (which may give you a "surprised" look), is the answer to your problem. I suggest that you get a second opinion with a plastic surgeon.
