Hi I have Graves disease [eyes] tissue around upper eyelid it is puffy after two years,my vision is normal now without much pressure behind the eye.Can surgery correct the swollen look and will it leave scars if its performed because Im Afro-american? Also will insurance [Blue Cross] cover this procedure?

Scars on the eyelids are often not visible, even in African Americans. Have your surgeon apply to your insurance company to see if you can be covered.
