I have a large amount of skin hanging on my lower abdomen. I get sweaty underneath and frequently get yeast infections there not to mention the awful odor even though I use powders, etc. I also have a lot of back pain. Would insurance pay for me to have a tummy tuck to get it of this awful mess. It looks disgusting and feels disgusting and the more weight I lose the worse it gets.

Hi, I've had two C-sections my most recent was three weeks ago and now I have a big pouch hanging over my incision it bothers me a lot. I don't want a long incision the one that I have now is small. I am 33 5'3" 185lbs I have lost about 40 pounds in the last 6 months but it just will not come off the stomach area. I have had a partial hysterectomy, a bladder repair and another surgery that the scar goes from belly button to pelvis. I also had by appendix removed but it was laproscopically done so there are about 5 little scars. My question is would a tummy tuck be possible at my weight or should I keep try to get to my goal weight before having this done which would be about another 40 pounds?

Hello Dr Bellin, I"m considering having a tummy tuck procedure as I have 5 kids in the last 5 1/2 years with my last pregnancy being twins. As you can imagine I have alot of loose skin and doctors have told me that my muscles need to be tighten. My only concern is that with my last pregnancy I had to have a blood transfusion because I was anemic with the pregnancy. All I can think is what if I start loosing alot of blood or should I be worrying about this?

I am scheduled to have a full tummy tuck next month with a hernia repair. The hernia is between the size if a golf ball and a base ball and is directly above my belly button. My plastic surgeon is doing both the TT and the hernia repair at the same time. I was wondering how the hernia repair is done while having a TT. I have also been told by a nurse friend of mine that it is not safe to do both at the same time is this true?

I am 26 and have had 4 children. I am 5'9 and weight 210. I can not seem to loss the weight after having my 4th child and have massive skin just hannging. Would I need to lose weight before I could have a tummy tuck. I was also wondering if this would remove loose skin on my hips as well. It looks like I have giant love handles that are mostly skin.
