I HAD A FULL FACE LIFT ON NOV. 10 AND I HAVE AREAS ON BOTH CHEEKS THAT ARE RAISED. ABOUT THE DIAMETER SIZE OF A PENCIL BUT ABOUT 2 INCHES LONG ON EACH CHEEK GOING FRON THE AREA AT THE CORNER OF MY MOUTH IN THE DIRECTION OF THE CENTER OF MY EAR. PREDOMINANT BY FAR, ON MY LEFT. QUITE fIRM IN TEXTURE. WHAT IS THIS AND WILL IT GO AWAY NATURALY AND IF NOT, WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.,

Dr Bellin, I am considering a mini face lift, 42 w/ small 2nd chin.5'7 165 lbs. proportioned well . Will this take care of 2nd chin? I have good elasticity for my skin. I was wondering also why they can't make an incision in the back of the scalp crown to base pulling skin back,removing excess and suture in the hairline.( I can pull my hair up tight and add 10 years to my face.)Thank you for your time. I had my face lifted 6 months ago and the result is that I have a prominet fat deposit on the temples and two dimples on my cheeks. A small chin implant was also done. To correct these imperfections, my doctor use radius to fill the cheeks and the jaw bone where the chin implant is. The fat on the templeas was removed by liposuction. My confern is that in 6 to 8 months the radius will be gone and my face will look as if I had nothing done. our comments will be appreciated.

I'm considering a neck/face lift and am a glasses wearer. I'm really blind without them. Is there is any danger that the cable temples (I need them for my work) will touch and irritate the incision. Also, I have very pale skin and wounds usually stay red for a long time. I also have very oily skin. Will I be able to find make-up that will stay on, sometimes for long periods? Richard NY

Dr. Bellin, I had a midface cheek lift 6 weeks ago with a reputable surgeon. I was shocked to find that I now have "railroad" scars in front of both ears that are very noticable and my hairline has been moved to behind my ears. Is this normal with a facelift?
