Question
Dr. Bellin, I had Malar cheek implants done about a yr.ago and my right cheek tingles and is numbe still and a little swollen. My teeth/gums on that side tingle and are numb too. The dr.did a reposition prceedure because he said the implant was pressing on a nerve and for about two months the tingling went away but has now come back and now I am experiencing a matalic feel/taste in the same area. What could this be and what should I do?
Answer
The implant may still be pressing on a nerve or there may be permanent nerve injury. Get another opinion.
