Question
Hi, I'm 19 years old, and i weigh 180 with 36E breasts. I would like a breast reduction and i know that my insurance will cover it but i am worried about how much scarrring i may have and whether they will still sag the way they do now or can they fix that? Also i have a birth defect which causes the shape and size of my breasts to be irregular. Will this cause problems?
Answer
Permanent visible scars will result from a breast reduction. No one can predict which kind of scars you will form. You would be trading the scars for a reduction in the size of your breasts. If the surgery is done properly, they will not sag and the present shape might not be a problem.
