Saticoy, California is a beautiful place with amazing attractions. Some of the earliest known first settlers of Saticoy were the Oak Grove People. Some of their artifacts were found in the early 1930s and thought to have been used back in 3000 B.C. It wasn’t until the 1400s when the Chumash Indians were said to have inhabited the area next.  The name Saticoy was given by the Chumash Indians to mean sheltered from the wind. This was important for them because the natural spring that sheltered the wind gave them a place to hold their meetings and ceremonies. 

Sadly, the original town of Saticoy was destroyed by the rupture of the Saint Francis Dam which was the town’s largest tragedy on March 12, 1928.  The many bridges and notable US Postal Service were all washed away.

With 9 holes and 2,650 yards of playing green this is a great place to get some golfing in.  The Course is designed for 9 holes and Par 34.
