Introduction
A native New Yorker, Dr. Minniti did his extensive medical training on the east coast in New York, Providence, and Boston, and was trained in general and plastic surgery. Dr. Minniti came west and is now one of Beverly Hills’ premier aesthetic plastic surgeons. He has over 10 years of experience in cosmetic plastic surgery, is an innovator of many surgical procedures for which he lectures to other surgeons, and has published in the leading plastic surgery journals.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Minniti conducted research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. There he was exposed to plastic surgeons rebuilding the bodies of people who had undergone the sometimes mutilating surgeries to cure them. Dr. Minniti graduated at the top of his class from New York Medical College with multiple honors, including his induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After completing his internship at USC in General Surgery, Dr. Minniti finished his General Surgery residency training at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Minniti subsequently completed his Plastic Surgery residency there as well, and completed an aesthetic surgery fellowship with Baker, Stuzin, and Baker in Miami. Dr. Minniti came back to Brown University in his final year as an Instructor in Surgery (Plastic).
Dr. Minniti specializes in primary and revision surgery of the breast and nose, and body contouring procedures including procedures for massive weight loss patients. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the Los Angeles Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
