Introduction
Dr. Chandler is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He is a native of upper east Tennessee and majored in chemistry at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He graduated from medical school at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. He completed his five-year general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee, Memphis in 1993 and his three-year plastic surgery residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas in 1996. After completion of his training, Dr. Chandler practiced at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington from 1996 through 1998. He was transferred back to Wilford Hall Medical Center where he advanced to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and became chief of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Air Force’s largest medical center until the completion of his military scholarship obligation. Dr. Chandler joined The Plastic Surgery Group of Memphis in 2004.
Dr. Chandler is well known in the Mid-South for his expertise and skill in cosmetic procedures, He has extensive experience in cleft lip and palate reconstruction, burn reconstruction, facial surgery including eyelift surgery, brow lift surgery, face lift surgery, breast surgery including breast reconstruction, breast reduction and breast augmentation as well as body contouring procedures. He also has experience in Microvascular free flaps for reconstruction.
