Why is it that everyone is obsessing over having breathtaking teeth?
Whiter teeth mean better confidence. There is nothing worse than not being able to smile throughout the day because you’re afraid of showing you teeth. It is truly down putting to have to bite your lips instead of laughing out loud. People with bad teeth are afraid of what other people would think of them and judge them on their hygiene. If not just your teeth but people review you by your grin and create an impression. But to be fair, it is natural to notice things like look at someone’s teeth and it is unflattering to see a gum infection or yellow stained teeth. But having sparkling beautiful white teeth changes everything! White teeth also make us look younger. Want to hear some bad news? Our teeth fade a darker colour as we age. According to ‘Teeth Bleaching Planet’ “the dentin, which is situated beneath the enamel, tends to naturally go yellow”. But the good side is we can get them whitened and there’s a start to looking 10 years younger. Another amazing thing about teeth whitening is an white smile makes the wrinkles on the face look more reduced and provides you with a healthy and lively looking look. And the fact that so many people are willing to go such lengths to look younger, this is a great way to start it off!
It’s not only teeth whitening that people have, to achieve that perfect smile. For example a very common problem that people have does not involve their teeth, but gums. This is called a Gum lift. If you have any uneven gums, it can make you teeth look uneven and possibly cracked, if that is the case any unwanted gums can be removed leaving you with a beautiful smile. Veneers are another common cosmetic dentistry procedure that is performed, in fact the popularity of veneers are quickly increasing because of their capable of achieving. Veneers can remould, perfect you teeth into a “new” tooth. Veneers are one of the most common procedures in cosmetic dentistry. This is a simple procedure reshaping the appearance of you teeth’s appearance. A single damaged tooth can have a big difference on your smile and confidence. Another common procedure that be performed by qualified dentists is Dental implants. If you have a missing tooth or about to have one pulled out and you want one to replace the gap then dental implants are the way to go. With dental implants an artificial tooth is placed in the jaw bone or sometimes in the gums. As with veneers dental implants look and feel exactly like real teeth. The above procedures mentioned are all surgical, but keep in mind that the more affordable way to go is whitening. These cosmetic dental procedures are just another step towards the Hollywood smile, and if you are satisfied with your teeth as they are, then go on and show them off!
Having beautiful teeth was always important; people always looked up to actor and actresses with beautiful smiles. In a way it does make us want to look like them, because everything they have, we want it! But teeth especially. Teeth represents a person’s hygiene, it shows how many times they brush their teeth a day, if they had braces when they were little and it shows a lot about who they are. But for actors and actresses it’s like a ‘must’ to have good teeth, because they’re on out TV screens and they are paid to look good and makes us want to watch them.
Unfortunately some of these teeth procedures do cost some money. Teeth whitening in average costs around £650 in Britain but there are places to go that are cheaper. There are many companies that can take you to a different country, get the procedure done, pay for everything and still come out cheaper. But if you’re still in your teenage years, please brush your teeth at least 3 times a day, don’t smoke or smoke anything else because then you won’t have to go through any of this! (At least not until you are at least in 40-50-years-ols). The alternative is, you can actually buy these home teeth whitening kits. They are much cheaper to buy but won’t work as well as a professional whitening. The cost for a gum lift is about $300 (£170) for each tooth or about $4000 for a full arch depending on where you go and what dentist you see. Veneers on the cost around £395 per tooth and dental implant in the UK, the costs of a single tooth implant can vary from £800 up to £3000.
